  Advantages of using Soy wax as opposed to Paraffin wax are:

It is 100% vegetable without additives of chemicals, animal fats or

petroleum therefore clean burning, with no toxins and petrol soot emissions released into the air.

Helps a farmer rather than a large oil conglomerate.

Low melting point which means wax burns 25% to 50% longer and essential oils or frangrance oils are released sooner.

Is water soluble and can easily be washed in hot water and detergent.

 

Paraffin wax is made from the sludge in the bottom of petrol containers, it is scraped out, bleached and made into candles!!!

All Butterflyte melts and candles are lovingly made and  hand poured by myself with help from my ''spiritual guides' using CandleLyte wax.    I thoroughly enjoy the whole process, right down to selling them at my stall and introducing new people to the excitement of them, both the fragrance and the butterfly shape.
