The melts will keep their healing fragrance for several hours although usually half an hour to one hour melting in the burner will be sufficient to help with your needs. You can then remelt for further relief at another time until the fragrance of the oils have evaporated. Then simply wipe out with a handy towel while still melted or let the wax set and flick out with a rounded knife.
